Students, be sure to visit the Library and sign out a book; this will give you a ballot for a chance to win a free book! Today’s free book is entitled “The Doomspell”.

• The Global Action Club will meet today at 12:00 in Mr. Jamieson’s room. All members of the club are reminded to pass their letters to Kenya in to either Mr. Lea or Mr. Jamieson.
• The Advanced Readers’ Circle will meet again at 12:00 noon in Mme Flynn’s room. Students are invited to come out and grab a great book!
• Attention Grads! Heckbert’s will be here at lunch break today to take orders for grad photos. They will be set up in Ms. McLane’s Room, W108.
• Lifetouch Photographers are here today, doing retakes.
Athletic Department Notices:
• The Ladies Field Hockey team plays Bluefield today at 4:30 p.m. The bus will leave at 3:45 from the Main Student Entrance.
• The Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams plays Colonel Gray today at 4:30 p.m. The bus leaves from the Main Student Entrance at 3:45 p.m.
• Girls on the Ladies Volleyball team leave today for a tournament at Westisle. Athletes will be called down during B Block.
• The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team competed hard yesterday at Provincials. All runners represented the school very well. Congratulations to Matthew Glover who finished Third in the Juvenile Division. Mr. Killeen would like to thank all runners who participated this year.
An Annual Fall Frolic and Pumpkin Party is being presented by Parks Canada at the Greenwich Interpretation Centre on October 25, 2009, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Free admission will give you plenty of fun for the whole family.
