The Canadian Armed Forces will have a display at the top of the stairs over the noon hour today. This will be a good opportunity for students to find out about both full and part time employment with the Forces.
The first Students Against Violence Everywhere (S.A.V.E.) meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 1, at 11:50 in the Guidance office. New members are always welcome. Bring a friend.
All Field Hockey players are asked to check out the schedule on Miss Currie’s office door for changes made to upcoming games.
Students are reminded that the deadline for ordering photos from Lifetouch Photography is October 6th. If students are not satisfied with their portraits, they are to return their proofs portraits/order form to the photographer on October 29 (Retake Day) and they will be re-photographed. Teachers, please place the payments and/or returned portraits into the “teacher collection” envelopes. These may be turned into the office for safekeeping.

Congratulations to members of the Ladies Field Hockey team who are Fall Fest Champions! The team beat Charlottetown Rural 3-0 in the semi-final and 3-0 against TOSH in the Championship game. The team finished the tournament with a 5-0-1 record!

Congratulations to the Ladies Field Hockey Team who beat Charlottetown Rural 4-1 yesterday. Goals scorers were Laura Mooney, Molly Gotell, and Nicole Mooney with 2!
The Men’s Volleyball Team lost a hard fought match to Charlottetown Rural 3 sets to 1. Player of the game was Erik Hameline with a number of fantastic blocks!
Laura Blaisdell is asked to please see Mrs. Killeen in the Library as soon as possible.
Grade 12 Students: Please note that a representative from St. Thomas University will be in the Guidance Office this afternoon at 2:00. Anyone wishing to meet with this rep must sign up in the Guidance Office before the end of noon break today.

Upcoming events – Saturday, September 27th. “Get Out and Get Active” bike ride from Mt. Stewart to St. Peters, followed by a Family Kitchen Party (with award-winning Fiddler’s Sons) at the Courthouse Theatre in St. Peters (non-alcoholic event so all ages are welcome). You can participate in one or both events. All are welcome and organizers hope to see you there!

Students wishing to meet with these representatives must sign up with Mr. Armstrong today. Also, a representative from Saint Thomas University will be here on Friday afternoon. Previous sign u-p is required for St. Thomas as well.
Golfers: You are going to Avondale this morning; a bus will be provided for transportation. You will be called down to the office at around 11 o’clock.

Maritime Idol, a division of “Canadian Idol”, is coming to Montague Centre for Performing Arts on October 10, 17, 24, and the final round on October 30. Montague Youth Bowlers: Are you between the ages of 4 and 18, looking for a fun winter sport? Would you enjoy receiving badges, medals and trophies. Youth Bowling may be for you. Come on out and give it a try at the Montague Iceland Bowling Lanes…. every Saturday at 12:30 for ages 4 to 10 and at 2:00 p.m. for ages 11 to 18. No equipment is needed, just $2 a game. There will be chances to play in some of the across Island tournaments. Registration will be held on Saturday, September 20, between 1 and 3 p.m. at Brenda Campbell’s home.
