We missed a birthday yesterday… Adam Myers had a special day over the past weekend, so we will wish Adam a Belated Birthday today! Also, congratulations to Adam and Alyssa Chapman who participated in the PEI Special Olympics Bowling Championships over the weekend.

Welcome to Paula Johnston who is a guest teacher today.

Teachers and students should make note that Mrs. Killeen will not be available during C Block today.

This is a reminder to Mrs. Lowther’s Grade Ten Math class that your assignments are due this morning.

There will be Block meetings this morning for A and B Block Peer Helpers. There will be Block meetings tomorrow afternoon for C and D Block Peer Helpers.

The Choir, Vocal Class and Women’s Ensemble will be leaving at 11:30 to perform at Vernon River Consolidated. Teachers can check their e-mails for a list of the students involved.

On Wednesday, May 28th, SAVE will be having a BBQ in front of the school at lunch break to raise money and awareness for relationship abuse. Remember to wear pink; and if you do, your name will be entered into a draw to win a pink prize pack!

Students who are parked in the “Dynasty” parking lot should note that parking at that restaurant is for customers only. Cars are in danger of being towed if you are using that area to park for the day.

Very important… Men’s Softball meeting at 11:38 in the gym.

Congratulations to the Men’s Rugby team on their win against Souris last evening. This puts them at three wins and two losses going into their final regular season game against Bluefield on Wednesday. All players are reminded that today’s practice will be from 4:15 to 5:30 and it is very important that all players attend.

This Friday, May 30th, is the evening of the Prom. During the day, regular classes continue as usual. Students are expected to be in regular attendance, as prom activities do not begin until 6:30 p.m.

As a result of time constraints between the end of sport seasons and the start of exams, we will be changing from an Athletic Banquet to an Athletic Assembly. This year, we will be honoring our student athletes on June 9th in an assembly during B Block. Parents are invited to attend as well. For more information, contact Miss Charla Currie.
