Irving Oil has advised us that construction is taking place in their parking lot today. The area will be fence and closed to parking. Please be considerate when coming with your vehicles today.

Athletes: This is a reminder that Athletic Fees must be paid by the end of the week. Paige Hart and Sarah Nabuurs will be at the Gym during the lunch break on Thursday and Friday. All Badminton players owe $30 and all Softball players owe $20.

There will be a STRIVE meeting today at 11:38 in Room M114 (Mrs. Drane’s room). Everyone in STRIVE is urged to attend. Lunch will be provided.

Any French, History, or Art students wanting to see and experience the rich history and culture of France and Italy should sign up in Mme Flynn’s classroom for the March 2009 Europe trip.

Graduating Students: Viking Pin applications are now available. See Miss Currie for an application or for more information. Deadline for submissions is June 2. Pins available are the Athletic Red Pin, Social Red Pin, Academic Red Pin, Combination Red Pin, and the Special Black Pin.

As a result of time constraints between the end of sport seasons and the start of exams, we will be changing from an Athletic Banquet to an Athletic Assembly. This year, we will be honoring our student athletes on June 9th in an assembly during B Block. Parents are invited to attend as well. For more information, contact Miss Charla Currie.

Students in STRIVE are reminded of their meeting today over the noon hour in M114. Everyone in STRIVE is urged to be there.

Tomorrow is the deadline to apply for the PEI Mutual Insurance Scholarship. Applications can be given to Mr. Armstrong today or tomorrow.

Track and Field training is posted on the bulletin board in the gym. No tryouts at lunch time today. The track meet has been postponed until June 3rd. Tryouts will be Tuesday.
