The Student Council would like to thank everyone who participated in the Softball game yesterday evening. It was a huge success!

Immediately following announcements, would all Grade Twelve students who are writing the UPEI assessment test please go to Mrs. McInnis’s room W305. Teachers should expect those students back to class after one hour.

Congratulations to Rebecca Collings and Brittany MacEachern who made it to the next level of the Under 19 National Ringette Team tryouts.

Mr. Trainor has been added to the list of teachers that you can send to jail for SADD week.

Athletes: This is a reminder that Athletic Fees must be paid by the end of the week. Paige Hart and Sarah Nabuurs will be at the Gym during the lunch break on Thursday and Friday. All Badminton players owe $30 and all Softball players owe $20.

High Jump tryouts will be held today at 11:50 at the Intermediate School. 100m tryouts for Senior Men and Women will be held on Thursday at lunch time (11:50). Runners, check the Phys. Ed. bulletin board for today’s training.

There will be a S.A.V.E. meeting today at 11:50.

The Women’s Rugby team will have lunch in Mr. Killeen’s room today.

There will be a STRIVE meeting on Thursday, May 22, (tomorrow) at 11:38 in Room M114 (Mrs. Drane’s room). Everyone in STRIVE is urged to attend. Lunch will be provided.

Any French, History, or Art students wanting to see and experience the rich history and culture of France and Italy should sign up in Mme Flynn’s classroom for the March 2009 Europe trip.

Graduates who wish to order a DVD of the Ecumenical and Graduation Services on June 19th are reminded that orders are to be pre-paid by Wednesday, June 25th. Price is $40 and you can place your order through the school’s main office.

Graduating Students: Viking Pin applications are now available. See Miss Currie for an application or for more information. Deadline for submissions is June 2. Pins available are the Athletic Red Pin, Social Red Pin, Academic Red Pin, Combination Red Pin, and the Special Black Pin.

As a result of time constraints between the end of sport seasons and the start of exams, we will be changing from an Athletic Banquet to an Athletic Assembly. This year, we will be honoring our student athletes on June 9th in an assembly during B Block. Parents are invited to attend as well. For more information, contact Miss Charla Currie.

MRHS Choir and Vocal Class presents Beatle Mania. Come on out for an exciting evening filled with live performances of your favorite Beatles’ tunes and dancing choreographed by our very own Kristena McCormack. Show starts at 7:00 p.m. on May 22. Tickets will be on sale soon. See you there!

Under 18 Youth Men’s Soccer practice will be held on Thursday evening at 6:30 at the Rollo Bay Soccer Field. Please attend. Anyone interested that has not already signed up is welcome.
