Today’s Semi Final Action in Ball Hockey: “Brad MacDonald” take on “The Lemons”.

Today’s Special in the Cafeteria: Baked potato with your choice of toppings, choice of side, and a small white milk for $3.75.

There will be a full Student Council meeting today right at the lunch bell! Everyone must attend. It is a very important meeting.

All Model United Nations students are asked to meet today at 11:38 in room W304.

Band Students: Jazz Combo is cancelled after school today. This is a reminder to everyone that the Jazz Band (Grades 11 and 12) students out tomorrow for Jazz Day at Colonel Gray.

Choir Students: There will be Choir rehearsal at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday morning next week. All members must attend.

Library… a few reminders for all staff and students:

  • The Library is closed daily during D Block.
  • Two AC adaptors are still missing from two CD players. Please take another look around your classrooms and return if found.
  • Students are encouraged to use the Library for open book exchanges daily each morning between 8:00 and 8:40 a.m.; during both breaks; lunch hour and after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until 4:00 p.m. These are also the times when Mrs. Killeen will assist with photocopying. Remember your money!

Canada Games Men’s Indoor Volleyball Camp: All athletes born in 1988 or later who are interested in trying out for the 2009 Canada Games Men’s Indoor Volleyball Team are invited to an upcoming Identification Camp being held at Summerside Intermediate School on Saturday, April 26th, ant at Bluefield High School on Sunday, April 27th. There are two sessions each day. Saturday sessions are 12:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 6:00. Sunday’s sessions are 11:00 to 1:00 and 3:00 to 5:00. Athletes must pre-register with team manager, Dawna Woodside at 675-4722 or dlwoodside@islandtelecom.com. New players are strongly encouraged to attend this upcoming ID Camp as it is one of the last opportunities to come out and join this promising training squad from which the 2009 Canada Games Team will be chosen.

School Trustee Elections will be held on May 26, 2008. Nominations for these positions may be made from Monday, April 28, to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9. Official nomination papers are available from Zone Returning Officers as well as Access PEI locations. Information concerning nominations, eligibility of proposed trustees and nomination papers are available on the Elections PEI Homepage at www.electionspei.ca.
