Today’s Semi Final Action in Ball Hockey: “Just a Bunch of Guys” play “The Bobcats”. Tomorrow, “Brad MacDonald” take on “The Lemons”.

Today’s Special in the Cafeteria: Baked ham and scalloped potatoes with a side of carrots and a small white milk for $4.00.

Women’s Ensemble: You’ll be meeting at 11:38 a.m.

Guitar Club will meet at 11:45 am today in Ms. MacLeod’s room.

Track and Field running practice today after school in the gym. Those playing Rugby or Softball are exempt from practice.

There will be a full Student Council meeting tomorrow at lunch. It would be awesome if everyone could attend.

Band Students: Concert Band rehearsal is cancelled after school today. Grades 11 and 12 Jazz Band students are asked to bring their permission slips for Jazz Day by Thursday.

The Lost and Found in the Phys. Ed. area is being cleaned out. Clothes not picked up by Friday will be donated to charity. Books/binders/notebooks found in the lost and found box will be kept in the office until Friday, then they’re gone! Come check if you’re missing something!

Teachers: A video “Andrea Gail: Perfect Storm” was left in the DVD/TV#1. If it is yours, see Mrs. Killeen as soon as possible.

Important: Anyone wishing to submit video clips to be shown in the Graduation Video (will be shown at the Grad Banquet), pleae see Lindee Grant, Katelyn Shaw, or Jessica Webster in the next two weeks. Please do this as soon as possible.

Canada Games Men’s Indoor Volleyball Camp: All athletes born in 1988 or later who are interested in trying out for the 2009 Canada Games Men’s Indoor Volleyball Team are invited to an upcoming Identification Camp being held at Summerside Intermediate School on Saturday, April 26th, ant at Bluefield High School on Sunday, April 27th. There are two sessions each day. Saturday sessions are 12:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 6:00. Sunday’s sessions are 11:00 to 1:00 and 3:00 to 5:00. Athletes must pre-register with team manager, Dawna Woodside at 675-4722 or dlwoodside@islandtelecom.com. New players are strongly encouraged to attend this upcoming ID Camp as it is one of the last opportunities to come out and join this promising training squad from which the 2009 Canada Games Team will be chosen.

Biology Course Changes at UPEI: Starting in September of 2009, you will need to have credit for one high school Biology course (either BIO521 or BIO621) in order to register for the first-year Biology courses (Biology 131 and 132) at UPEI. First-year Biology courses are required for a major in Biology, Chemisty, Family Science, Psychology, Radiography, Nutritional Sciences, and the Pre-Veterinary Program. These courses are also recommended for other programs. If this is your plan, make sure that you take BIO521 or BIO621 in your 2008-2009 school year!

School Trustee Elections will be held on May 26, 2008. Nominations for these positions may be made from Monday, April 28, to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9. Official nomination papers are available from Zone Returning Officers as well as Access PEI locations. Information concerning nominations, eligibility of proposed trustees and nomination papers are available on the Elections PEI Homepage at www.electionspei.ca.
