Badminton: A very important meeting of all badminton players who are heading to provincials will be held in the Guidance room at afternoon break today. All players, both age categories, should be there.
Today’s Special in the Cafeteria: Baked potato with choice of toppings (broccoli, cheese, sour cream, bacon), side salad, and a small white milk for $3.75.
Ball Hockey playoff games today: “The Lemons” play “The Weak Wristers”. On Friday, “N.A.S.H.” play “The Bobcats”. Semifinal Games start on Monday!
Photo Club will be meeting today after school to shoot portraits and on Friday at lunch to look at new photos and update your hallway displays. You need to start planning out submissions for Arts Gala, Yearbooks and the office display. There will also be information about contests and other opportunities.
Student Council is hosting a Spring Dance this Friday, April 18th, in the gym. The dance will be from 8:00 to 10:30 p.m. Today is your last day to buy tickets – at lunch for $5 each or $4 with a food bank item. For tickets, go to the top of the stairs!
Grad Activity Committee members: Voting for president, vice president and secretary treasurer continues today in M110 from 11:40 to 12 noon. Tomorrow, come to the M110 to check out the grad clothes! You must try before you buy. Bring money on Monday.

Attention Grads: Moore’s Menswear has generously donated three free rentals of the tuxedo of your choice. Any grad interested, please submit your name and home-room to the office by noon on Friday, April 18. A draw will determine the lucky winners.
Staff: Please check your classrooms for an extra AC adaptor cord for a CD/Cassette player. The Library is missing two, which makes two machines useless. Your time and effort is much appreciated.
Montague High badminton players completely dominated the juvenile and senior badminton tournaments held this week. In senior play yesterday, Montague players won 17 of the top 18 positions in 5 categories. Players advancing to the provincials on April 25 and 26 include: Sara Walsh, Hope Klein, Cassie MacLean, Mamie Bell, Barb Shephard, Charlotte Gallant, Greg Clark. Matt Nabuurs, Terry Nabuurs, Kuri White, Matt Patterson, and Evan Forrister.
The Montague dominance started on Tuesday when our juvenile players took 14 of the top 16 spots at their tournament. Players from this team advancing to provincials include: Emily Doyle, Taylor Nicholson, Molly Gotell, Celeece MacIsaac, Kris MacLeod, Jack Panting, Sam MacLeod, and Devan Gunn.
