Anyone who is interested in making promotional posters for the “High School Musical” should meet with Mrs. Sandra Hicken at lunch break today.!

Today’s Special in the Cafeteria: BBQ Chicken Pizza with a choice of side and a small white milk for $4.00. Tomorrow’s special is a roast beef dinner which includes roast beef with gravy, baked or mashed potato, side of veggies and a small white milk for $4.00.

Important Plea: “High School Musical” needs a stage crew. This is a serious commitment. If you are looking for participation, see Mr. Nicholson as soon as possible in W206.

March is Nutrition Month; today’s fact is… “Each American eats approximately 22 pounds of tomatoes yearly. Over half the tomato consumption is in the form of ketchup and tomato sauce.”

Ball Hockey today at lunch time: “Staff Hawks” play “Tina Latex” On Friday, “Lemons” play “Crawford” and on Monday, “The Bobcats” take on “The Weak Wristers”.

Important reminder to all French Trip Students that Vessey’s orders are due Friday and final payments must be in on Tuesday, April 1st (before this would be great too!!).

There will be a S.A.V.E. meeting today at 11:50. The SADD meeting is postponed until the beginning of next week.

Senior Badminton will practice today at 3:15 while the Juveniles will go at 5:15 on Friday. Attendance is compulsory.

There will be Rugby practice in the gym today and Friday. Today’s practice will start at 5:00 p.m. and Friday’s at 3:15 p.m. These practices are open to all male and female players.

Wrestling Notes: Practice at Montague Consolidated from 6:30 to 8:00 today with Megan Morrison and Bradshaw Campbell. Practice on Monday, March 31, from 4:00 to 5:30 at Montague Consolidated School. Upcoming Zone Tournament hosted by MRHS is scheduled for April 10th. PEISAA Provincials are set for Friday, April 18th, at Gulf Shore.

The Southeast Environmental Association invites everyone to a Public Information Meeting on April 2, 2008, at the Boardroom of the Health Services Building, 126 Douses Road, Montague. Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. and will include a presentation on Nutrient Enrichment in Surface Water and a report on the Progress of the Nitrate Commission.

We are looking forward to the April 7th assembly (during B Block) when Carl Duivenvoorden will address the student body on the subject of Global Warming - “An Inconvenient Truth”. Students are encouraged to check out the web at changeyourcorner.com before the assembly.
