Happy Birthday to Amanda MacDonald!

Peer Helpers: All Peer Helpers must return their training manuals and textbooks to Ms. Beck immediately. Peer Helpers for next semester who have not yet done an interview with Ms. Beck must see her today to arrange an interview time.

Sarah Jane Fraser is asked to see Mrs. Killeen as soon as possible.

Staff and Students: To avoid fines, please return overdue Library books to Mrs. Killeen as soon as possible.

Copying in the Library: It’s crunch time and students are getting their materials organized for exams! This is a reminder that students are required to pay for any photocopying and you should seek permission before using the machine.

Attention Athletes: Every four years, a male and female student athlete are selected to attend an Olympic Youth Camp held at the site of the Olympic Games during the entire two weeks of the games! Heather Moyse represented Canada as a youth delegate to the Atlanta Games. PEI will select the male and female delegate and these names will go to the Olymic Committee in Ottawa who will make the final national selections from the applications from each province and territory. PEI has a one in thirteen chance to have a male or female represent the Province. This opportunity is available to any student 16 to 18 years of age as of August 5, 2008. The deadline for application is February 27 and students interested should contact Miss Currie for more information.

This is National Non-Smoking Week in Canada. We are including another Fact Sheet on Second-hand Smoke and Outdoor Spaces on the reverse side of these announcements. Please read and share this information.
