Student Council: All Student Council members are required to stay and clean up the gym after the dance tonight. It should take no longer than twenty minutes.

Today, December 6, marks the anniversary of the “Montreal Massacre”, an event in which fourteen women were targeted and killed at a Montreal university. All across Canada on this day people remember these women and reflect on the issue of violence against women in our society. During A Block, a member of the S.A.V.E. group will visit your home room and deliver a token of remembrance. Please wear them throughout the day.

Students and teachers should note that the boy’s washroom near the computer lab will be closed all day today. It is to used by the Child Care class.

Today’s Special in the Cafeteria is BBQ chicken pizza or vegetarian pizza with a small white milk for $2.95.

The following students are asked to see Mrs. Shoemaker at 11:38 a.m. today: Raven Martin, Donald Burke, and Nick Jamieson.

Attention all French Trip students - you meet today at “midi”. Be on time and remember all chocolate bar money is due “demain” - that’s tomorrow!

There will be a SADD meeting today, Thursday, at 12:00 noon in M303.

Photo Club is cancelled Thursday afternoon. We will meet at lunch time Friday in Mrs. Lowther’s room.

Jazz Band is cancelled because of Ms. LaFrance’s absence today.

Choir: There will be a very, very important mandatory Choir rehearsal on today from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. All members MUST attend!

This is the last day to purchase Christmas Dance tickets. They are $10 regular and $8 with a food item. Tickets will be sold all lunch hour today.

High School Musical: There will be a dance rehearsal/audition for The High School Musical after school today from 3:15 to 4:15. All those who auditioned must attend.

Wrestling practice tonight from 6:30 to 8:00 at Montague Consolidated School. It is very important that you attend, especially if you plan to go to Moncton on December 8^th.

All classes are cancelled today due to the storm.

Band Students: Trumpet Sectional will be held today at 11:50 in the music room for Aidan Angus, Sarah Gamble, Greg Fitzpatrick and Haleigh Blaisdell. If unable to attend, please see Ms. LaFrance.

Anyone interested in playing in an Eastern School District Dodgeball Tournament this weekend, please see Adam Ross today or tomorrow.

Exchange Student Opportunity: Any student interested in being on an exchange program next year should note that there is a meeting about the EF Exchange program tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Farm Centre in Charlottetown. See Mr. Armstrong for details.

Christmas Dance: The Annual Christmas Dance is scheduled for this Friday, December 7, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. The doors will open at 7:30 and close at 8:30 p.m. Students must either park in the bus parking lot or be dropped off in the bus lot. Students coming to the dance will enter through the gym entrance and the Auxiliary Gym will be used as a coat check. Students are welcome to bring their cameras!
