Alumni Basketball: This evening we will be hosting the Alumni basketball games. Former basketball players will be playing against this year’s teams. This is a fund-raiser for the Men’s and Women’s Basketball program, and tickets are $5.00 per person. The Athletic Council will meet today at 11:45 in Mr. Killeen’s room.

The MRHS Choir will be performing on Ocean 100 this afternoon. Turn on your radios and check them out.

All Choir Members must pass in their lotto ticket tree money to Ms. McInnis immediately this morning.

There is a Women’s Ensemble rehearsal today at 11:38 a.m.

Student Council: There is a Student Council meeting at 11:45 a.m. today in Room M307.

Attention Jazz Band and Concert Band Students: There will be a very important trumpet sectional today at 11:50. Bring your lunches. You will be rehearsing in the class room beside the music room. Just a reminder to wear black for this evening’s concert. Please arrive at 6:20 for a warm up. Your band practices are finished for this year. You will resume after Christmas break in 2008.

There is a SADD meeting today at 12:00 noon in Room M303.

Choir meets today at 3:30 p.m.

Tonight is the night for the MRHS Christmas Concert. The weather is fine and music will be made on stage in the Cafeteria tonight at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.

Women’s Basketball Team: Members of the Women’s Basketball team should be at the student entrance ready to leave today at 3:15 for your game at TOSH. Brandi and Jenny, don’t forget to pack the red jerseys.

The tradition continues and it stormed on our Christmas Concert date! The concert has been rescheduled until Tuesday, December 18, in the Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.

Dec. 12 Update

The Eastern School District Board Meeting that was scheduled for this evening has been postponed to next Wednesday, same time, 7:00 p.m.

Basketball Games that were scheduled against Souris Regional High School have been cancelled due to the weather conditions in Souris.

If any students can’t attend, Mr. Armstrong will have the information. Ms. Beaton’s B Block class, Biology 521, should go to Mr. MacDonald’s Lab, M405.

Choir: There will be a brief Choir Executive meeting today at lunch, starting at 11:40 - everyone must attend! SADD people are excused.

All S.A.V.E. members are invited to a Christmas Pizza Party today at lunch in Mr. Lea’s room.

There will be no Debate Club meeting today after school.

The Administration would like to thank Mr. Killeen, Ms. Nabuurs and the Student Council for organizing an excellent Christmas Dance. Also thanks to the many chaperones who attended, and to all the students for their cooperation in making the Christmas Dance such a success this year!
