There is an assembly during B Block today, but students are to go to their B Block classes for attendance and wait to be called down.
Guidance Notes:
- Students in STRIVE should note that there will be a brief meeting today at 12:00 noon in the Guidance Office. All STRIVE members are expected to be there.
- Any Grade 12 student who plans to apply to St. F.X. for a limited enrollment program like Nursing or Human Kinetics should apply immediately. See Mr. Armstrong for details.
- Students are reminded that Friday is Pink Shirt Day and that all students are asked to wear something pink in support of Students Against Violence Everywhere, and to support anti-bullying awareness throughout our school and our communities.
Today’s Special in the Cafeteria is a Grilled chicken breast on a bun (white or whole wheat), side salad or pasta, small white milk - $4.00.
Our two exchange students from Quebec, Charles Gascon and Veronique Plourde, have completed their exchange and will be heading home this weekend. We will miss them and wish them best wishes from all at MRHS.
The Debate Club meets today at 3:15 in Mr. Lea’s room.
Band Students: There are sectional rehearsals today; Saxophones and Trumpets at 11:50 a.m. in the music room. Concert Band rehearsal starts at 3:15 p.m.
In preparation for the Christmas Dance, students who have not yet paid their student fees should take care of this as soon as possible. Students fees may be paid at the office.
Heckbert’s Grad Photos: Heckbert’s will be on the stage in the Cafeteria at lunch time on Tuesday, December 11, to deliver grad photos. Please check the grad bulletin board to see any money owing before this date.
There will be no yearbook workshop today after school. It is cancelled due to Blood for Life. It will go ahead next Wednesday after school.
