The Women’s Soccer season ended for the girls last night with a loss against Charlottetown Rural. All girls should be proud of how they have played throughout the season. Best of luck to the team next year. Also, all jerseys must be given to Shelley Acorn as soon as possible.
Students are reminded that there are Parent Teacher Interviews being held this week at the school. Teachers will be available to meet with parents on Thursday evening and during the day on Friday.

Congratulations to all students and staff for participating in Monday’s Million Minutes Challenge. We recorded 28,260 minutes read. Montague High is up from 13,947 minutes last year. Well done, everyone! In our family of schools, we just came in behind Vernon River; they beat us by a mere 2,840 minutes!
In honor of School Library Month, Tuesday’s winner of the book A Friend of the Family was Devan Sinclair, and the winner of the book Emily’s Reasons Why Not was Nelly Johnson. Students should remember to visit the Library and sign out a book; you’ll receive a ballot for a chance to win a free book or gift card all this week.
There will be a Yearbook Meeting today after school in Ms. McLane’s room. New members are always welcome!
Do you have “dance fever”? Next Wednesday, wear your costume to school and participate in the First Annual Costume Contest Dance Off at lunch break in the gym. The entrance fee is just your costume! There will be prizes for the best costume and treats and fun for everyone!
Students are reminded again that orders will be taken for Yearbooks from Thursday, October 25, to Friday, November 2, 2007, and books will arrive in June. You have to pre-order/pre-pay for the books and note that they will also be on sale at Parent-Teacher Interviews.
